Jonathan was the manager I knew could exist but that I’d never had the chance to meet. He is a people person, focused on delivering results by ensuring the people who reported to him felt safe, respected, heard and cared about. This was powerful for the business, and more importantly, the people around him.

Like pieces on a chess board, he gently nudged each of us in directions that helped build our confidence and skills, while also contributing to a much bigger picture of how our place of work became exciting, inspiring, supportive and honestly, really fun to be in.

Jonathan was responsible for the Tech part of the App & Web teams of the partner facing product development, making good organizational changes to foster the technical direction of the app. He was central to the great atmosphere that was present in the track (group of product teams), cultivating the community. He was always ready to help teams through challenges.

Jonathan was my first mentor on ADPList and I couldn't have asked for a better match! He took the time to listen to all the points I brought up (and there were plenty), gave me spot-on resources and invaluable guidance. Jonathan was very patient with our session. I felt like he actually set time aside to talk to me. He was very honest about his knowledge and I never got the impression that he was just improvising as he went along. He also gave me excellent examples to look at for inspiration for my portfolio. Jonathan guided us through bringing our design to life, from style tiles and typography to photoshop mockups to completed Wordpress theme. He has a wonderful ability to take an idea and turn it into something visually compelling, while remaining flexible and responsive to our requests for changes. We were not easy customers, and he handled the entire 4 month long process with grace and professionalism, often responding to after hours requests with a 30 minute turnaround or less. I'd recommend his work to anyone!
