Trump and Musk may be trying to make DEI public enemy No. 1. But when psychologists Naomi Isenberg and Markus Brauer surveyed more than 5,000 Americans from many walks of life and with varied political views, they found a very different picture. Their results were published in Scientific Reports in November.
Across five separate polls, when asked whether they agreed with 15 pro-diversity statements like “Racial diversity benefits the country” and “It is OK with me if my state taxes are used for college scholarships for students from minority groups so that they can attend the state’s public university,” a massive 82 percent of respondents said yes.
