Stumbled upon Luis Arrieta's website, somehow, and have been exploring. Found some super interesting aspects that I haven't seen before and/or want to emulate on my site.

Quiver & Colophon

I've never seen the term "quiver" used for meaning "stack". His /quiver page has the standard colophon, but also lists his "tech quivers" of hardware and apps.

I really like the term quiver better than "stack" to describe. your go-to tools.

The metaphor's stronger and much better aligned to what that one's own personal toolset is: the things you pull from first and can quickly use. Like a quiver.

Much better than a metaphor of stacks, with piles of tools that can just grow and grow and become unruly, unwieldy.

Library

Under construction, but appreciate the intent and purpose of his /library.

My intention is to have a live inventory of all the books in my library. Should be displayed in the form of a list with some of the following fields:

 • title
 • author
 • edition: edition(s) I own, edition I recommend
 • reading status: read, reading, to read soon, someday
 • review: link to my written review (if available)

I've started building my own /library, but don't yet have a public "under construction" page for it yet.
