Leadership

Authenticity. Curiosity. Respect.

Leadership is a skill-set.

I've leveled-up my skills through a career of transformative hyper-growth.

Guiding Principles

My leadership style empowers creativity and builds inclusive cultures. My approach fosters high-performing teams that thrive in dynamic environments. I excel at aligning people, processes, and products to achieve organizational goals.

By choosing compassion over apathy and collaboration over rank,
we make things better, together.

  1. Include

I value diverse perspectives, create safe space for open conversations, and ensure all voices are heard.

I build bridges across teams, advocate for underrepresented groups, and foster a culture of belonging.

  2. Account

I take responsibility for my actions, manage expectations transparently, and follow through on commitments.

I use data to track progress, pivot strategies based on insights, and hold myself and others to high standards of integrity.

  3. Situate

I craft my approach to the specific context, recognizing that different situations require different leadership styles.

I meet people where they are, provide the right level of support, and adapt my methods to fit the needs of the team and organization.

  4. Collaborate

I believe in the power of collective intelligence, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and leveraging diverse strengths.

I build inclusive teams, nurture talent, and encourage others to contribute, co-create, and lead.

  5. Adapt

I embrace change with curiosity, actively listen to feedback, and adjust course as needed.

I remain flexible, continuously learning and growing, encouraging innovation and new ways of thinking to drive progress & impact.

  6. Iterate

I innovate by embracing a test-and-learn, growth mindset, continuously experimenting with new ideas and approaches.

I view setbacks as opportunities for growth, celebrating small wins along our iterative journey.

Jonathan is one of the few people in leadership positions I've worked with who speak truth to power; standing up for what is right and what he believes in. In the time we worked together I observed multiple occasions in which Jonathan chose empathy over rank, and integrity over apathy. To put it another way, some people let leadership go to their head, but Jonathan directs it straight to his heart.
