Reading out on the porch this morning, and we hear a cry. Sounds like a raptor. Ends up being a red tailed hawk that perches on one of the trees in the backyard, sometimes.
This was very helpful and super interesting.
Now I've got to look out for potential sky dancing for mates, or even discovering the hawk has a lifelong bonded mate!
