A loooooong read. But, woah.
Google's kept up a >10 year pursuit of the military's tissue and DNA samples—that's been collected since its start in the American Civil War. Full of direct quotes like:
“The chief concern,” Google’s liaison in the military warned the leaders of the repository, “is keeping this out of the press.”
And it was published in 2022! I just noticed!
